What is this all about then?
Hi and welcome to my first post on my first website.
Aside from writing about gangsters and twisted moralities, I also garden, keep bees, raise chickens, cook, walk, watch and read. I could write a series of blogs about these and never really finish. But for once in my life, I don't want this to be about me. Let's try and do something a bit different.
The aim of this blog is to meet people. I want to interview interesting people about their interesting lives. They might be gardeners or bee-keepers, but they might also be engineers, scientists or collectors – anyone with something to say.
What will tie these stories together? Well, I want to meet people who are from rural communities; those of us who don't benefit from the immediate modernity of city life. Yes, we may have slow broadband, we may have roads with more potholes than the moon has craters and we may class dressing-up as wearing posh wellies, but we don't have to be ignored.
So give me your weird and wonderful, your jobs, your hobbies, your home life. Toot your horn like you just don't care.
Contact me via Twitter or e-mail and I'll put the kettle on for you.
